Mardi 8 février, les enquêteurs suisses de l'opération GEMELLE ont pris connaissance d'enveloppes adressées par le père des jumelles à son épouse contenant de l'argent. Les investigations menées par la police nationale française ont permis d'établir que le père des jumelles a pris le bateau pour la Corse. Les investigations se poursuivent tant en Suisse, qu'en France et en Italie.
Mardi 8 février 2011, les enquêteurs de la Police cantonale vaudoise ont pris connaissance de plusieurs enveloppes envoyées par le père des jumelles depuis Bari, selon le timbre postal, adressée à son épouse. Ces enveloppes contenaient des coupures de 50 € pour un montant total de 4'400.- €. Dans l'intérêt de l'enquête, la Police cantonale vaudoise n'est pas en mesure de révéler l'entier des éléments en possession des enquêteurs pour l'instant.
Les contrôles effectués par les enquêteurs ont permis d'établir que le père a récupéré ses filles le dimanche après-midi vers 13h00. Sa présence a été confirmée dans la région de Morges le dimanche après-midi, vers 15h50, grâce à la localisation de son téléphone portable. Par la suite, il s'est dirigé vers Genève et a traversé la frontière pour être localisé dans la région d'Annecy vers 18h15.
Selon d'autres éléments recueillis par les policiers français, il apparaît certain que le père a pris le bateau pour se rendre à Propriano le lundi soir à 18h35. Un témoin déclare l'avoir vu le mardi 1er février à son arrivée en Corse. La présence des jumelles à bord du bateau n'a pu être confirmée pour l'instant mais elle ne peut être écartée.
Les investigations se poursuivent, tant en France qu'en Suisse et en Italie, pour établir l'emploi du temps du père durant la période allant de mardi matin, à son arrivée en Corse, jusqu'au jeudi midi où il se trouvait dans la région de Naples.
Les enquêteurs comptent toujours sur les indications provenant de témoins éventuels tant à Marseille qu'en Corse. Les témoins sont priés de s'adresser au commissariat ou au poste de gendarmerie le plus proche ou d'appeler la hotline en Suisse +41 21 644 82 31 ou le numéro vert en France 08 05 01 07 07.

Martedì 8 febbraio, gli inquirenti svizzeri dell'operazione GEMELLE hanno preso conoscenza delle buste inviate dal padre delle gemelle alla sposa che contiene il denaro. Le investigazioni condotte dalla polizia nazionale francese hanno permesso di stabilire che il padre delle gemelle abbia imbarcato sul traghetto per la Corsica. Le investigazioni proseguono tanto in Svizzera che in Francia ed in Italia.
Martedì 8 febbraio 2011, gli inquirenti della polizia svizzera (Police cantonale Vaudoise) hanno avuto conoscenza di parecchie buste inviate dal padre delle gemelle da Bari, come dimostrato dal timbro, inviate alla sposa. Queste buste contenevano delle bancomate di 50 € per un importo totale di 4'400.- €. Nell'interesse dell'inchiesta, la polizia svizzera (Police cantonale vaudoise) non è in grado di rivelare l'intero degli elementi in possesso degli inquirenti al momento.
I controlli effettuati dagli inquirenti hanno permesso di stabilire che il padre abbia ricuperato le sue ragazze la domenica pomeriggio verso le ore 13. La sua presenza è stata confermata nella regione di Morges/Svizzera la domenica pomeriggio, verso le ore 15:50, grazie alla localizzazione del suo telefonino. In seguito, si è diretto verso Ginevra e ha attraversato la frontiera per essere localizzato nella regione di Annecy verso le ore 18:15.
Secondo altri elementi raccolti dalla polizia francese, appare certo che il padre è imbarcato sul traghetto per Propriano il lunedì sera alle ore 18:35. Un testimone dichiare l'avere visto il martedì 1 febbraio al suo arrivo in Corsica. La presenza delle gemelle a bordo della barca non è potuta essere confermata al momento ma non può essere smentita.
Le investigazioni proseguono, tanto in Francia che in Svizzera ed in Italia, per stabilire l'impiego del tempo del padre durante il periodo che va di martedì mattina, al suo arrivo in Corsica, fino al giovedì mezzogiorno dove si trovava nella regione di Napoli.
Gli inquirenti contano sempre sulle indicazioni che provengono tanto da testimoni eventuali a Marsiglia che in Corsica. I testimoni sono pregati di rivolgersi al commissariato o alla stazione di polizia più vicina o di chiamare la hotline in Svizzera +41 21 644 82 31 o il numero verde in Francia 08 05 01 0707.

Swiss investigators working as part of the GEMELLE operation learned Tuesday 8 February of envelopes containing money that were addressed by the twins’ father to his wife. Investigations led by the French national police have established that the father of the twins took the ferry to Corsica. Investigations are continuing in Switzerland as well as in France and Italy.
Tuesday 8 February the Vaud Cantonal Police learned that several envelopes were sent by mail from Bari, based on the postmark, by the father of the twins to his wife. These envelopes contained money, in €50 bank notes, totalling €4,400. The Vaud Cantonal Police are not yet in a position to discuss other information or details in their possession, in order not to prejudice the investigation.
Checks carried out by investigators have now established that the father picked up his children Sunday afternoon about 13 :00. His presence in the area of Morges Sunday afternoon around 15 :50 has been confirmed thanks to signals picked up from his cell phone. He then headed towards Geneva, and he crossed the border into France where signals show he was in the area of Annecy at 18 :15.
French police have received other information that shows the father did indeed take the ferry to Propriano, Corsica, Monday evening at 18 :35. A witness has filed a statement that he saw the father Tuesday 1 February when he arrived in Corsica. There is no confirmation for now that the twins were on the boat, but the possibility cannot be exclcuded.
Investigations are continuing, in Switzerland as well as in France and Italy, to establish the father’s whereabous during the time from Tuesday morning, when he arrived in Corsica, to Thursday noon when he was in the area of Naples, Italy.
Investigators are seeking any information that can be provided by possible witnesses, in Marseille and in Corsica.
